The story behind THE STORY began 35 years ago when I was 19, and I had an amazing friend (Grant Bruckner) who is one of the most amazing artists I have ever encountered. Inspired by his art and the music we listened to and enjoyed from throughout the ages, a seedling of a story began to form between us. This seedling began to take root some time after we had parted ways, as the story inside my mind and my soul began to materialize sharply. Continuing to rely on music for my inspiration, I began to collect those that most inspired me into playlists according to the Book # that would one day be written. I continued to collect songs and musical masterpieces that inspired me and the grand story that is bursting within to get out. Every day the story grows and every day the plots thicken and multiplies.

For 35 years, this incredible story has been in the works, but not entirely worked on. As I struggled with life situations and events, and the reality of having to make time for the seven children I have, I continued to find it more and more challenging to find the little moments necessary to continue writing the manuscript. However, I have recently begun to realize that my situation currently is changing, and has changed, as my children continue to grow up and move on. Time is returning to me now, and the opportunities to complete what I started 35 years ago has begun to increase all the more.

And so I sit here today, with more tools than I had at my disposal long ago, ready at a new beginning towards an amazing journey that I absolutely cannot wait to see and bring to its completion. It is a story that needs to come out. It is a story that is begging to be told. It is a story that has begun and will end in my dreams.
